The End of the 2012 carp fishing season

The season 2012 turned out to be a good year with great catches on the holiday lake with many big 30's, the top lake big carp proved elusive in 2012 but it's good to see many fish coming out at 20lb plus, let's hope the 40's show more in 2013!.

This season has seen a strange assortment of weather but the fishing as been very good !

Welcome to the 2011 Season !

After probably one of the worst winters we have had here in Normandy, things are changing for the better, we have had several fishing matches on the lakes with carp being caught, so the fish are starting to move around and feed. let's hope this season sees the same fantastic carp fishing that we had in 2010.

All ready for the 2011 Season

As with the rest of Europe we had a lot of snow this year !

It's all gone now and we are gearing up for the start of the new season on the first of March.

Last week of the 2010 season

Another season draws to a close with Sam & Bill back for the third time this year, Sam, fishing with girl power landed a P.B. 34.5lb Mirror while the poor old hubby could only just break 20lb with a common.

It rained a lot for the first half of the week and was cloudy with a breeze for the rest, the Saturday of departure saw the sun arrive and tempretures climb back to 25°.

The Bowden's are back!

Mark, Gerry, Colin, Gerald and Uncle Barry found the fishing a lot slower than their visits in previous years, the weather turned cold but still a few fish came in.

Dave & Roy take 63 fish

Dave & Roy, back for their third year at Etang du Moulin landed 63 carp up to 29.5lb last week, a mixed bag of weather with sunshine and heavy showers could not dampen their spirits as the fish kept comming.
